Project Context
Decks take more punishment than any other part of a home exterior, and the finish needs refreshing every few years to protect the wood.
The Challenge
The deck surface and railings showed fading, wear and areas of failing finish that needed thorough preparation before new coatings could last.
Scope
Cleaning, scraping and sanding of deck boards and railings, priming where needed, and two coats of exterior deck paint.
Process
We removed loose and failing material, sanded the surfaces smooth, cleaned the wood and applied primer and finish coats in the right weather conditions for a lasting bond.
The Solution
A durable blue-gray finish that protects the wood and complements the rest of the backyard.
Result
A like-new deck that is ready for outdoor living and protected for years to come.
